Three roles. Zero filler.

We're a small team and we intend to stay one. The only hiring criterion is that whoever joins raises the average level of the people already here. The projects are nalto's, end to end: we talk to the owner, we decide the architecture, we ship to production, and what we build stays with them.

We hire rarely and we turn down very good people. We don't place anyone inside someone else's team and we don't sell days: we build and we deliver. If you'd rather build a pretty demo that never leaves the laptop, this won't be for you.

Forward Deployed Engineer

You spend time on site, inside the company whose work you're automating. You end up understanding their process better than they do, you build it, and you watch it run on Monday morning.

Wherever you want · on site when it matters
Pay
€65,000 – €90,000 gross a year, depending on experience

What you build

  • You start on the ground: interviews, watching the process, real data. The first line of code comes once you know where the time goes.
  • You design the architecture and ship it into their systems, not into a sandbox.
  • You measure the outcome with the owner and fix it until it holds up without you.

What we're looking for

  • You can write code and talk to a CFO on the same day, without raising the technical register out of vanity.
  • You can say “what you're asking for won't help, here's what will” without it turning into a fight.
  • You've maintained what you built. You know what breaks after three months.

What it isn't This isn't staffing: you're never “placed” in someone else's team to plug a gap. You carry an outcome, not billable days.

Applied AI Engineer

AI demos always work. You build the ones that survive Monday, with genuinely messy data and people relying on them to do their job.

Pay
€70,000 – €95,000 gross a year, depending on experience

What you build

  • Agents and LLM chains wired into the company's real data, awkward edge cases included.
  • Evaluations before delivery: what isn't measured doesn't ship.
  • Guardrails, error recovery and logs a human can actually read when it breaks at 7pm.

What we're looking for

  • You've put an LLM system in production and seen what breaks.
  • You can say no to a use case that isn't reliable, and offer the one that is.
  • Evaluation interests you as much as the prompt does.

What it isn't No proofs of concept. If it doesn't reach users, it doesn't count.

Data & Product Engineer

A tool nobody opens is a failure, however good the code is. You model the data and build the screen the team opens every morning.

Pay
€65,000 – €85,000 gross a year, depending on experience

What you build

  • The data model: what the company actually knows, arranged so it can be used.
  • The pipelines that feed it without someone watching them every morning.
  • The interface: the one people open daily, not the dashboard they look at once.

What we're looking for

  • You're as good on a data schema as you are on a screen.
  • You watch people use what you made, and it changes what you build next.
  • You'd rather have one thing used than three things delivered.

What it isn't No showcase dashboard, no data platform to admire. We ship what gets used.

True for all three roles.

Permanent by default

A permanent contract. If you're freelance and that's how you work, we'll talk: same projects, same team, terms agreed case by case.

Wherever you want

We don't look for the best within thirty kilometres of an office: we look wherever they are, and they work wherever they want. Clients are in Spain and we go and see them when it's worth it. Barcelona and Paris exist if you want a desk.

The process

Four steps, two weeks: a thirty-minute call with a partner; a technical conversation about something you've already built; one real, paid day of work on an anonymised client process; an answer within five working days. No HR round, no personality test, no whiteboard algorithms.

You get an answer

A partner reads it, not an automated filter. We answer everyone, including when the answer is no.

None of them fit
quite right?

If you're good and none of the three is you, sign up anyway. We read everything and we answer everyone, including when the answer is no.
