AI workers

that make decisions, take action and run operations autonomously

Custom-built

around the way each business works

Client-owned

no lock-in, no endless licences

nalto deploys AI inside mid-sized companies. For real, in production.

We do it through AI workers: agents that take over a job from start to finish. They don't just communicate through voice and email: they make decisions, take action, and run operations autonomously across entire enterprise systems. Around them, we build custom software designed for the way each business actually works.

Mid-sized companies know AI could transform how they operate. What they lack is the team to make it happen, and most assume custom AI is reserved for large corporations. We prove them wrong: one process at a time, in production, measured in hours given back to their teams.

Nothing off the shelf, nothing stuck in a demo. And everything we build belongs to the client: no lock-in, no endless licences.

We operate in Spain and France, and we're building our presence in the UAE. From Barcelona, you'll work with our clients in Spain.

A full-stack engineer who is just as good in front of a client as in front of a codebase.

You'll build the AI workers and the custom tools our clients run on, and you'll be the person they trust to lead the project. You'll work directly with CEOs, CFOs and operations leads: you understand their business, scope what matters, ship it and make sure it delivers.

We're a team of builders. We ship, we own what we ship, and we judge our work by one thing: did it make a real difference for the client?

What it isn't This isn't staffing: you're never “placed” in someone else's team to plug a gap. You carry an outcome, not billable days.

What you'll do

Customer-facing engineering

Own the relationship from the first workshop to go-live and beyond. Understand how the client's business really runs and turn it into a solution that fits.

AI workers

Design, build and iterate on agents that make decisions and take action. That covers LLM prompting, tool use, orchestration and quality evaluation, until they're reliable enough to trust with real work.

Full-stack development

Build the custom applications, interfaces and back-ends around our AI workers.

Integrations & APIs

Connect everything to the systems our clients already rely on: CRM, ERP, accounting, email.

Project ownership

Scope, prioritize and deliver several client projects in parallel, on time, while keeping every client clearly informed.

Measure what matters

Tie every project to a KPI (hours saved, errors avoided, faster cash collection) and iterate until it moves.

Clean handover

Deliver documented, production-grade solutions the client fully owns.

Feed the playbook

Turn what works into shared prompts, patterns and components, so every next deployment starts ahead.

What we're looking for

Must have

  • 3–5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
  • Strong skills in React, TypeScript and Node.js, and hands-on Python.
  • Experience building LLM-powered applications that run in production: prompting, structured outputs, agents, tool calling.
  • Solid experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent communication. You explain complex technical choices to non-technical decision-makers, clearly and without jargon.
  • Real project management skills. You scope, prioritize, hold deadlines and manage client expectations.
  • Founder mindset: independent, you take ownership, and you thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fluent Spanish and English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a client-facing technical role: solutions engineer, technical PM or freelance.
  • A good grasp of how mid-sized companies run: sales, operations, finance, HR.
  • Startup experience.
  • Catalan or French.

Why join us

Real production

Every project ends with an AI worker live in production. Then on to the next.

A direct line to decision-makers

You work with CEOs, not five layers of middle management.

Variety

New industries, new processes and new problems with every client, across three markets.

Best-tool budget

Latest models, your editor, your stack. We pay for what makes you fast.

Weekly demos

Every deployment is shown live to the team. You see everyone's work, and everyone sees yours.

Hybrid in Barcelona, together monthly

Mix remote work with time alongside clients and the team, and meet the whole team every month.

How we work

  1. Production or nothing

A demo isn't a deliverable. If it's not running in a real business, it's not done.

  2. Extreme ownership

Your AI worker, your client, your call. If something breaks, even outside your lane, you fix it or flag it. Nobody here waits for a ticket.

  3. Craft over volume

We'd rather ship one AI worker that runs flawlessly for years than five that need babysitting. Quality compounds, duct tape doesn't.

  4. Talent density

Small team, no passengers. The best argument wins, whoever makes it.

  5. Urgency with focus

Speed is a promise, not a vibe. We move fast on what matters and refuse to be busy with what doesn't.

How we hire

The process

Four steps, two weeks: a thirty-minute call with a partner; a technical conversation about something you've already built; one real, paid day of work on an anonymised client process; an answer within five working days. No HR round, no personality test, no whiteboard algorithms.

You get an answer

A partner reads it, not an automated filter. We answer everyone, including when the answer is no.

Sounds like you?
Let's talk.

A two-minute form. A link to your LinkedIn or GitHub is enough, no CV needed.
